The Coordinator for the Dane County Treatment Court and Diversion Programs (DCTP/DCDP) plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful operation of these essential services. The Coordinator is responsible for managing program activities, providing some direct case management, and supporting the Service Director in hiring and overseeing the wrap-around case management team. This includes workload distribution, ensuring efficient program delivery, and maintaining high standards of care. In addition, the Coordinator will provide ongoing training and coaching to staff and assist with policy and procedure reviews to ensure services align with program goals. This role involves facilitating advisory board meetings and organizing up to three community-based events annually for program participants. Working with a population involved in the criminal legal system who may face socioeconomic challenges requires strong problem-solving abilities and an individual who is both compassionate and empathetic.
