Pretrial Case Management/Conditional Release enables the release of individuals from custody pending pretrial hearings. The Judge orders certain conditions that an individual must agree to abide by in order to be released from custody before their case is resolved. Pretrial Case Management aims to ensure individuals attend their scheduled pretrial court hearings and do not engage in behavior that could cause further criminal justice system involvement. Case managers work individually with clients to address barriers to court appearance, mental health concerns, substance use disorder, transportation needs, education or employment resources, and other areas that a client may need assistance with.
