Pretrial Screening
Assessments are compiled for judges, defense attorneys, and the prosecution to aid in making an informed release decision.

Pretrial Screening takes place while individuals in custody await their first court appearance. Information is gathered by an interview with the individual, their criminal history, and their previous court appearances (if applicable) to complete a pretrial risk assessment, mental health screen, substance use screen, and risk and needs assessment screen. These assessments and screens and compiled for the Judge, prosecutors, and defense attorney's to assist in making an informed release decision.
